Summer before starting a new school.

My friend’s parents would leave us home alone and all we wanted to do was drink vitamin water and listen to country music by the pool. I wanted a cell phone so badly. AIM would have to do. There were lots of pool parties and ill-fitting swimsuits, nights at the movies. We had just unlocked a new level of growing up.
